SPEAKER: Valerie Bogart, Esq. Ms. Bogart has been the Director of the Evelyn Frank Legal Resources Program (EFLRP) since June 2002. The EFLRP became a division of the New York Legal Assistance Group in April 2013. Prior to that date, the division was part of SelfHelp Community Resources.
Ms. Bogart lectures and writes extensively for bar and social services organizations, has taught adjunct courses at CUNY and Fordham law schools, and has received numerous awards. She is Co-Chair of the Medicaid Committee of the New York State Bar Association Elder Law Section, and served on the Board of “Neighbors Together” in Brooklyn. She received her law degree from the New York University School of Law.
