Bobbie Sackman

 

Bio: Bobbie Sackman has been Director of Public Policy with LiveOn NY since 1989. In a career spanning 35 years, she has earned a reputation as a tenacious and passionate advocate on behalf of older adults.

She has successfully advocated for increased city state and federal funding of senior centers, elder abuse programs, home-delivered meals, affordable housing, case management, adult day services, transportation, and NORCs.

Bobbie began her career working in direct services including a nursing home, adult day care, senior center and initiated a transportation program in Brooklyn.
