Walter Vega, the Ackerman Institute for the Family

 

Bio:

Walter Vega is the Dean of Admissions at the Ackerman Institute for the Family, one of the premier institutions for family therapy and one of the best-known and most highly regarded training facilities for family therapists in the United States. He is a social worker and family therapist and joined the Ackerman’s faculty in 2010. He now supervises students in the training program, and has been a teacher and trainer for over 15 years. He has been an adjunct lecturer at Columbia University School of Social Work and is an instructor and academic counselor at John Jay College of Criminal Justice for students in the school’s SEEK (Search for Education, Elevation, and Knowledge) Program.
