As service providers serving older adults we regularly encounter complex, challenging circumstances.  Often we’re able to identify pertinent resources, help our clients cut through bureaucratic red tape and get the services they need.  Unfortunately, that’s not always the case.  Many of us can easily identify one (or more) that ‘got away’ – a client who despite our best efforts we could not help.  Maybe she/he needed home based medical care for an uncommon condition but you couldn’t find a qualified physician willing to visit.   Or perhaps you had a client who was forced to move into a nursing home prematurely because she/he needed more support than an assisted living facility could offer and no intermediary option existed.   Please give this some thought and come prepared to briefly share your experience in the context of a facilitated small group discussion.

We hope to engage in lively conversations, identify common service/resource gaps, share knowledge and expertise and pinpoint topics of interest for future ESCOTA meetings.  Please RSVP at your earliest convenience.  We’d like as many members as possible (representing both for-profit and not-for-profit organizations) to participate.
