Dr. Susan Gerbino, Clinical Professor, NYU Silver School of Social Work, directs the Zelda Foster Studies Program in Palliative and End-of- Life Care (PELC), which includes training and mentoring across the career trajectory from MSW student to advanced PELC professional.

Daniel S. Gardner, PhD, LCSW is an Associate Professor at the Silberman School of Social Work and the Interim Director of the Brookdale Center of Healthy Aging at Hunter College, CUNY. Dr. Gardner has over 25 years of clinical, administrative, policy, and research experience in health and mental health, specializing in social work practice with individuals, families, and communities living with chronic and advanced illness.

Ann Wyatt, MSW is currently the Manager for Palliative and Residential Care at Caringkind (formerly the Alzheimer’s Association, NYC Chapter), working to promote innovative, comprehensive palliative care programs for people with advanced dementia.

Sarah Koppel, LCSW is a social worker at The Mount Sinai Hospital’s Visiting Doctors Program (MSVD). The MSVD program is the largest academic home based primary care program in the county.
