 This important presentation by Wellbridge Addiction Treatment and Research Center will update us on the latest trends related to Mental Health and Substance Abuse in older adults, including statistics, relevant biopsychosocial factors, triggers for use, compounding variables, medical complexities, and the importance of screening in prevention and detection.  

Social Workers Participating in this program will receive 1 CEU credit. JenTex Training & Consulting, LLC, provider #1441, is approved as a provider for social work continuing education by the Association of Social Work Boards (ASWB), through the Approved Continuing Education ACE) program. JenTex Training & Consulting, LLC maintains responsibility for the program. ASWB Approval Period: 2/28/2020 – 2/28/2023. Our Speaker: Aynisa Leonardo

Aynisa Leonardo is a Licensed Clinical Art Therapist (LCAT, ATR-BC), who has been in the field of addiction and mental health services for over a decade. She is the Director of Training and Education at Wellbridge Addiction Treatment and Research. She has concentrated on advanced program development and clinical education, locally and nationally, providing evidence-based and interactive presentations for the community, medical facilities, non-profits, and corporate agencies, in an effort to raise awareness on current trends, reduce the stigma associated with treatment, and improve collaboration within the healthcare community. Aynisa is proud to be part of the Business Development team at Wellbridge, in support of community outreach, education, and program development.
